Visit of Members of the College of the EC to Strasbourg

José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, took part in the weekly meeting of the Barroso II Commission in Strasbourg with other Members of the College of the EC.
Viviane Reding, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship, then gave a joint press conference with two Members of the EP on minimum standards on the rights, support and protection of victims of crime.
On 12/09/2012 Michel Barnier, Member of the EC in charge of Internal Market and Services, gave a press conference on the proposals of the EC for a European banking union (EBU). Maroš Šefčovič, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Inter-Institutional Relations and Administration, then participated in a discussion on the regulation of the EP and Council of the EU on the statute and funding of European political parties and European political foundations.
