Visit of Máire Geoghegan-Quinn, Member of the EC, to Ireland

Máire Geoghegan-Quinn, Member of the EC in charge of Research, Innovation and Science, travelled to Dublin, where she participated in the official opening of the Euroscience Open Forum 2012. The Euroscience Open Forum is Europe’s largest, general science meeting.
During her stay in Dublin, she also participated in the signature ceremony of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the EU and the US National Science Foundation.
