Opening of the exhibition “Field of Turning Solar Sunflowers”, with the participation of Andris Piebalgs, Member of the EC
Andris Piebalgs, Member of the EC in charge of Development, visited the exhibition "Field of Turning Solar Sunflowers", produced by the French artist Alexandre Dang. The exhibition consisted of solar powered (cardboard) sunflowers, which moved with renewable energy. The exhibition was organized as part of the European Sustainable Energy Week 2012.
