Visit of Karel De Gucht, Member of the EC, to Honduras

Karel De Gucht, Member of the EC in charge of Trade, and Christian Leffler, Managing Director for the Americas (North, Central and South America and the Caribbean) in the External Action Service, travelled to Tegucigalpa to sign a comprehensive Association Agreement between the EU and the countries of Central America, which includes an ambitious trade component.
The signature ceremony was held on the occasion of the meeting of the Presidents of SICA (Sistema de la Integración Centroamericana, Central American Integration System) in Honduras.
