Visit of the new facilities of the Amsterdam Schiphol airport, by Cecilia Malmström, Member of the EC

Cecilia Malmström, Member of the EC in charge of Home Affairs, visited the new facilities of the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol designed to reduce waiting lines. The airport offers travelers with a biometric passport the opportunity to perform automatic control through scanners designed for this purpose. Cecilia Malmström visited the airport together with Gerd Leers, Dutch Minister for Immigration, Integration and Asylum Policy, Ad Rutten, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Schiphol Group, and Nanne Onland, Director of Dartagnan.
