Award ceremony of the 2011 translation contest "Juvenes Translatores" (latin for "young translators"), in the presence of Androulla Vassiliou, Member of the EC

Androulla Vassiliou, Member of the EC in charge of Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth, gave the awards to the winners of the translation contest "Juvenes Translatores" (latin for 'young translators'). Twenty-seven pupils, one from each Member State, were given a trophy and a certificate for producing the best translation from their country. This is the fifth time that the EC organised this competition.
