Visit of Vuk Jeremić, Serbian Minister for Foreign Affairs, to the EC

Štefan Füle, Member of the EC in charge of Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy, received Vuk Jeremić, Serbian Minister for Foreign Affairs. This meeting took place at a crucial juncture for Serbia. They already met earlier in the same week at the Western Balkan Forum in Luxembourg, an important gathering of the EU Member States with the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the Western Balkan countries.
The year 2011 brought a huge opportunity for Serbia to move closer to EU accession, as the EC was actively preparing its opinion on Serbia's membership application.
