Visit of José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, to Baden-Wüttemberg

José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, and Günther Oettinger, Member of the EC in charge of Energy, went to Baden-Württemberg. José Manuel Barroso met Stefan Mappus, Minister President of Baden-Württemberg, and made a speech on "Stability and growth: Setting Europe on course".
During the second day, they visited a Trumpf firm in Ditzingen with Nicola Leibinger-Kammueller, CEO of Trumpf, and Joachim Hutfless, Project leader at Trumpf. Trumpf is one of the world's leading companies in production and medical technology.
José Manuel Barroso and Günther Oettinger finished their journey by a visit of a Festo firm with Eberhard Veit, CEO of Festo. Festo develops and markets systems that automate the movement.
