Presentation of the energy performance certificate of a public building in Brussels: the DM28 building of the DG "Mobility and Transport" of the EC
Maroš Šefčovič, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Inter-Institutional Relations and Administration, and Evelyne Huytebroeck, Minister for the Environment, Energy, Urban Regeneration and Aid to Individuals of the Region of Brussels-Capital, unveiled the first energy performance certificate (EPC) awarded to the DM28 building of the DG "Mobility and Transport" of the EC, situated at 28, rue Demot in Etterbeek. The EPC certificate for a public building is based on the actual consumption of fuel and electricity of the building (based on the invoices). It classifies the building according to the primary energy consumption per m2 of heated area.
