Visit of Catherine Ashton, Vice-President of the EC, to China

Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the EC, went to China to visit the country during 3 days. On the first day, she met Fu Ying, Chinese Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, and visited a school in Shanping village. During the second day, Catherine Ashton met Dai Bingguo, Chinese State Councillor for Foreign Affairs, and attended the first EU/China High Level "Partnership" Dialogue in Guiyang. On the third day was the opportunity to meet with Wen Jiabao, Chinese Prime Minister, in Beijing.
