Open Doors Day at the European Institutions

On the occasion of the Festival of Europe, the European institutions located in Brussels organised an Open Doors Day on Saturday 8 May. The EC was represented by Maroš Šefčovič, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Inter-Institutional Relations and Administration, opened the "Berlaymont" building to the general public. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Festival of Europe, coinciding with the anniversary of the historical declaration of Robert Schuman which marked on 9 May 1950 the debut of the adventure of the European Union, several activities are organised in the different institutions.
