Fourth EU Sustainable Energy Week in Brussels: Günther Oettinger, Janez Potočnik and Johannes Hahn, Members of the EC, in a race on electric bikes

On the occasion of the 4th edition of the EU Sustainable Energy Week, which took place between 22 and 26 March 2010, nearly 300 events were organised throughout Europe to raise awareness about the need to improve the management of energy use among the policy makers and the consumers. Günther Oettinger, Member of the EC in charge of Energy, Janez Potočnik, Member of the EC in charge of Environment, and Johannes Hahn, Member of the EC in charge of Regional Policy, participated in one of the event organised at the Berlaymont esplanade, that gave the opportunity to take part in a race on electric bikes to demonstrate the advantages of the sustainable mobility.
