25th anniversary of the European Capitals of Culture

José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, and Androulla Vassiliou, Member of the EC in charge of Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth, held a speech at the conference organised at the Palace for Fine Arts of Brussels, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of European Capitals of Culture. The conference was aimed at sharing experiences and good practices as well as assessing the impact of the European Capitals of Culture since its launch in 1985.
