Joint press conference by Siim Kallas and Charles Picqué annoucing the winner of the Brussels urban planning competition for the European quarter
Siim Kallas, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Administrative Affairs, Audit and Anti-Fraud, and Charles Picqué, Minister-President of the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region, gave a joint press conference to announce the name of the winner of the Brussels urban planning competition which aimed at defining a new urban design for the European Quarter around the rue de la Loi. The winner is Christian de Portzamparc, French architect and urban planner.
