Speech by José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, on the Lisbon Strategy
José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, gave a speech on the Lisbon Strategy and in particular on the conclusions of the "European Growth and Jobs Monitor" which measures the performance of the 14 largest European countries according to the criteria of the Lisbon Strategy for growth and employment. The study was carried out by the Council of Lisbon, a reflection group based in Brussels.
