Presentation ceremony of the book: "European Commission (1958-1972) – History and memories of an institution"

José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, took part in the presentation ceremony of the book: "European Commission (1958-1972) – History and memories of an institution". The book has been written by European historians on the basis of the recollections of some 120 people who were involved at the time. It is a representation of the birth of the Commission, its initial struggles and its political and administrative development. In the framework of the event, José Manuel Barroso also received Ludwig Schubert, President of the Association of Former Officials of the European Communities (AIACE) and Robert Pendville, former Secretary General of AIACE.
