A picture says more than a thousand words: anti-tobacco campaign (EN)

As the week against cancer begun, and following the EC's decision on graphic health warnings on cigarette packs, the EC has set up a central EU library of colour photographs and other illustrations from which Member States will be able to choose for use as part of the obligatory health warnings on tobacco products. These images show the reality of the damage that smoking can do. One hard hitting picture does speak more than a thousand words. " Smoking can cause a slow and painful death" is one of the health warnings used on tobacco packages in the EU.
