Participation of Sandra Kalniete, Member of the EC, to the 20 km race of Brussels
The start of the 25th edition of the 20 km of Brussels was given on Sunday 30 May 2004, at 3 pm at the esplanade of the Cinquantenaire. Traditionally, the employees of the European institutions train a team to run this marathon. This year, the Europeans t-shirts were printed with the slogan: "Running for Europe". Sandra Kalniete, Member of the EC from Latvia, took part in the race.
