Visit of Paul Nevermann, First mayor and Chairman of the Senate of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, to the Commission of the EEC
Walter Hallstein, President of the Commission of the EEC, received Paul Nevermann, First mayor and Chairman of the Senate of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. This visit aimed at discussing Hamburg's difficulties in the single market and possible solutions. The extended discussions were followed by a dinner at the Château of Val-Duchesse.
