The European Mobility Week started on 16 September and ended on 22 September with the European day without car. In order to express its support for the European week, the European Commission launched its own campaign "Smart Moves", centred on the topic of accessibility. Margot Wallström, member of the EC in charge of Environment, and Neil Kinnock,Vice-President of the EC in charge of Administrative reform, went to their workplaces in a taxi-bike.
