Visit of Pascal Lamy, member of the EC, to the United Nations (UN)
Pascal Lamy, Member of the EC in charge of Trade, visit the United Nations headquarters in New York to meet Kofi Annan, Secretary General of the United Nations. Their discussions centered on the integration of developing countries into commercial multilateral systems, in the framework of the Doha development programme. Pascal Lamy also discussed the EUs proposals for resolving the problem of access to medication for poor countries.
