Presentation and Official inauguration of the Youth Convention on the Future of Europe
From 9 to 12 July, 210 young people met in Brussels to attend the Youth Convention on the future of Europe, giving them the opportunity to express their views on the future of the European Union. These young people, aged between 18 and 25, represented the members and representatives of the European Convention, chaired by Valéry Giscard d'Estaing. Four young women have been designated by Commissioners Michel Barnier and António Vitorino to represent the European Commission.
