Press conference by Romano Prodi, Anna Diamantopoulou and Viviane Reding on the European Health Card
In the framework of the action plan on worker mobility within the European Union, Romano Prodi, President of the EC, Anna Diamantopoulou, Member of the EC in charge of Employment and Social Affairs, and Viviane Reding, Member of the EC in charge of Education and Culture, presented an important initiative for the citizens of the EU namely the creation of a European Health Card which will replace the current E111 sickness insurance form.
