Special Commission meeting on the introduction of the euro and visit to Euro-village

For the first time in history, part of the Commission's meeting has been transmitted live on Europe by Satellite, the European Union's TV news agency. Members of the College spoke in their own language about the euro and gave their impressions on the imminent arrival of the single currency. After the meeting, the College visited the Euro-village.
