Meeting of the European Group on Ethics in Sciences and New Technologies (EGE)
The twelve new members of the European Group on Ethics in Sciences and New Technologies (EGE) were named for the 2001-2004 mandate. They are responsible for delivering opinions on all the ethical aspects of science and the new technologies and not only biotechnologies - within the framework of the development or of the setting up of legislation or of Community policies.
