Signing of an agreement on the extension of BC-Net to the member countries of EFTA

The signing ceremony of the agreement on the extension of BC-Net (Business Cooperation Network) to the member countries of the EFTA (European Free Trade Association) was held at Hotel Amigo in Brussels. The ceremony was followed by a press conference. António Cardoso e Cunha, Member of the CEC in charge of Personnel, Administration and Translation, Energy and the Euratom Supply Agency, Small Business, Distributive Trades and Tourism and Cooperatives, presided over the event. EFTA Member countries were represented by their ambassadors to the EC, including Bénédict de Tscharner, Head of the Mission of Switzerland to the EC, Stig Brattström, Head of the Mission of Sweden to the EC, Eivinn Berg, Head of the Mission of Norway to the EC, and Erkki Liikanen, Head of the Mission of Finland to the EC.
