Visit of Rolandas Paksas, Lithuanian Prime Minister, to the EC
Rolandas Paksas, Lithuanian Prime Minister, met Romano Prodi, President of the EC, and Günter Verheugen, Member of the EC in charge of Enlargement. The discussions focused on membership negotiations, the follow up of economic, legislative and administrative reforms, the energy sector, particularly the implementation of June 2000's Donors Conference and the deactivation of the Ignalina nuclear power plant, as well as the EC communication on Kalingrad.
