Signature of the additional protocol annexed to the agreement creating an association between the EEC and Turkey

An additional protocol and a financial protocol were signed and were annexed to the agreement creating an association between the EEC and Turkey. This involved, on the basis of reciprocal obligations, the progressive setting up of a customs union between Turkey and the Community and of the alignment of the economic policies with a view to ensuring the proper functioning of the association and development of the necessary common actions for this purpose.
