Visit of a delegation of leaders from the British National Farmers Union to the CEC
A delegation of 23 leaders of the British National Farmers Union was received by Sicco Mansholt, Vice-President of the CEC in charge of Agriculture, within the framework of an information visit to the CEC on 28 and 29 April 1969. The delegation which was headed by G. T. Williams, President of the British National Farmers Union, who was accompanied by H. Plumb, vice-President of the British National Farmers Union, and J. K. Knowles, Secretary General of the British National Farmers Union, has been informed about the problems of the moment and the perspectives of agriculture within the European Community.
