The European Communities Prize is awarded every two years to reward university thesis that represent an important and outstanding contribution to issues relating to European integration. Jean Rey, President of the CEC, gave the prize to the 3 prize winners:- Wahe Hagop Balekjian from Austria competing in the legal science category;- Dieter Biehl from Germany competing in the economic science category;- Edmond Jouve from France competing in the political science category.
