Debate on the occasion of the arrival of a train-forum for republican integration in Brussels.
The Train-forum for Republican Integration, was born from the activities led by La Fondation pour l'intégration républicaine (The Foundation for Republican Integration). The aim of the forum was to do all possible to aid the integration of immigrants. The train had carriages, in which exhibitions and information stands were set up and documentaries were shown. One carriage was dedicated to debates and discussions. At each stop, round tables were organised with politicians, different organisations, journalists and the general public. When the train arrived at Brussels South station, Edith Cresson, Member of the EC in charge of Science, Research and Development, the Joint Research Centre, Human Resources, Education, Training and Youth, Daniel Cohn-Bendit, Member of the EP, and Kofi Yamgname, President of La Fondation pour l'intégration républicaine, participated in a debate on European policy and immigration.
