Prize-giving for the 2nd European Competition for Educational Software by Edith Cresson, Member of the EC
Edith Cresson, Member of the EC in charge of Science, Research and Development, the Joint Research Centre, Human Resources, Education, Training and Youth, gave out the prizes in the presence of Gerassimos Arsenis, Greek Minister for Education. The "Miltos Koundouras" school from Neas Filadelfias (Athens) received the first prize for a CD-ROM on painting in the Ionian Islands from the 16th to the 18th Century.
