Luxembourg European Council, 29-30/06/1981

The European Council of Luxembourg addressed the economic and social situation as well as the general orientation of the EEC’s external relations. The Council also prepared the next meeting of the Western Economic Summit in Ottawa. In addition, the European Trade Union Confederation has handed its manifest for employment and economic recovery to Andries van Agt, Dutch Prime Minister and President in office of the Council. A manifestation was also organised.
