In this regards issues regarding the humanitarian programme for food aid to the Mozambican peoples and the interim cooperation development programme including, among others, a series of agricultural and fishery projects were addressed. Other issues discussed were: the participation of Mozambique in the renewal of the Lomé Convention on 6 October 1983, the involvement of Mozambique in the SADCC (the Southern African Development Community Conference) and its continuous action in favour of the isolated countries of the region in order to have a better regional integration between the 9 SADCC States facing problems related to the apartheid in South Africa and the future of Namibia.
