Handing over of the report from the group of independent personnalities by Dirk-Pieter Spierenburg to Roy Jenkins

Roy Jenkins, President of the CEC, received Dirk-Pieter Spierenburg, Dutch Ambassador to the EC, former Vice-President of the Hight Authority of the ECSC, and President of the group in charge of putting forward a proposition of reform of the CEC, who handed him over the report from a group of independent personalities commissioned by the CEC in January 1979 to analyse its structure, functioning and staff policy. The President expressed his recognition the President of the group for the report quality and the quickness with which it had been carried out.
