Visit by Léopold Senghor, President of Senegal, to the CEC

Roy Jenkins, President of the CEC, and Claude Cheysson, Member of the CEC in charge of Development, received Léopold Sédar Senghor, President of Senegal, and Ousmane Seck, Senegalese Minister for Economy and Finance. During the visit, three financing agreements were signed. These agreements were designed to establish and equip a surgical unit in the Hôpital Principal de Dakar, to set-up a trade promotion programme and an IT master plan for the Senegalese civil service.
