Agriculture 2000

The future of the agricultural sector is tightly linked to the balanced development of the rural areas that cover 80% of European territory. The reform started with Agenda 2000 takes into account competitive European agriculture whilst not forgetting the varied needs of the rural world, societys expectations concerning product quality and environmental issues.
