The Audiovisual Services of the European Commission situated in the Berlaymont building offers various kinds of assistance and technical facilities to TV and radio journalists:
Two TV studios and one radio studio
Editing and duplication facilities
Video crews and filming facilities
Access to archive footage
Access to play out services.

The above mentioned services are provided free of charge to Radio and TV stations subject to certain relevant priorities and conditions of use:

Requests for technical assistance will be met on a "first come, first served" basis and preference will be given to:
Reservation requests should be sent to the European Commission's Audiovisual Planning office accompanied by a copy of the circuit reservation request.

Core services can be used free of charge by TV and radio stations, however, all unlisted services must be paid for by the user. Circuit reservation requests (via satellite or fibre optic) must be booked and paid for by the station.
Consumers of EC videotape stock are requested to supply blank replacements of the appropriate video format when ordering copies.
Furthermore, please note that the Commission's participation is limited to that of technical assistance. The Commission is not responsible for the content (editorial line, information, opinions expressed, etc) of the programmes produced.
