The audiovisual material (still images, moving images and sound sequences) made available on the website of the Audiovisual Services of the European Commission is offered free of charge for EU-related information and education purposes, unless otherwise stated hereafter or in the terms of use accompanying each individual file. For any use not authorised by this copyright notice and the terms of use accompanying each individual file, prior clearance must be obtained from the Central Audiovisual Library of the European Commission. .

NB :

  • Moving images (videos) presented as "Cartoon", "Clip", "College", "Documentary", "Generic", "Graphics", "Magazine" or "Music" may not be edited and must be shown in their entirety, unless prior authorisation by the Central Audiovisual Library has been obtained.
  • All other kinds of moving images (videos) available on this website may be edited for EU information and education purposes.
  • The European Commission shall not object to the use of images of the Berlaymont, Charlemagne, Tour Madou and Breydel buildings of the European Commission for non-commercial EU-related information and education purposes on condition that proper credit is given to the architects:
