Ruling of the Court of Justice of the EU in the case Fidenato and Others (C-111/16)

On 13 September 2017, the Court of Justice of the EU delivered its Judgement in the case Fidenato and Others (C-111/16). The Court stated that Member States may not adopt emergency measures regarding genetically modified food and feed unless it is evident that there is a serious risk to health or the environment.
