Visit of Andris Piebalgs to Nicaragua: 07/10/2013

On 6 October 2013, Andris Piebalgs, Member of the EC in charge of Development, travelled in Nicaragua in the context of the establishment of the new EU/Nicaragua cooperation programming for the period 2014-2020. One of the objectives of this visit was to strengthen EU/Nicaragua bilateral relations and ascertain the country's socio economic situation. This video shows extract of meeting of Andris Piebalgs with Aminta Granera, Director-General of the National Police of Nicaragua. It also shows the Member of the EC visiting the Masaya Volcano National Park, a local workshop of ceramic in Managua and the Coofrutari cooperative.
