European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA), à Bilbao: newspackage

On 31 March 2014, the new premises of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) in Bilbao, Spain, were inaugurated and a Seat Agreement between Spain and the European Union was signed to facilitate effective cooperation between Spain and the Agency. EU-OSHA is a European Agency committed to making Europe a safer, healthier and more productive place to work. It promotes a culture of risk prevention to improve working conditions in Europe. It researches, develops, and distributes reliable, balanced, and impartial safety and health information and organises pan-European awareness raising campaigns. The Agency brings together representatives from the European Commission, Member State Governments, employers’ and workers’ organisations, as well as leading experts in each of the EU-28 Member States and beyond.
