Celebration of Latvia's accession to the euro area: common press conference by Valdis Dombrovskis, Herman van Rompuy, and José Manuel Barroso

On 10 January 2014, José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, Herman van Rompuy, President of the European Council, and Valdis Dombrovskis, Latvian Prime Minister, gave a press conference in Riga on the Celebration of Latvia's accession to the euro area. On this occasion, they welcomed Latvia's entry on 1 January 2014 as a positive signal both for Latvia and the EU.
