On 17 January 2014, Jan Kinšt, Member of the European Court of Auditors, gave a press conference on the Court’s Special Report No 15/2013 entitled 'Has the Environment component of the LIFE programme been effective?'. In the report, the Court invites the European Commission to improve the effectiveness of the LIFE programme by increasing the distribution and replication of the environmental projects that yielded good results.
