Visit of Andris Piebalgs to Guatemala: 04/10/2013

Andris Piebalgs, Member of the EC in charge of Development, made his first ever visit to Guatemala in October 2013 to discuss priorities for future EU assistance with the Guatemalan authorities and civil society. On 4 October, in Guatemala City, Andris Piebalgs met Otto Pérez Molina, President of Guatemala, as well as Fernando Carrera, Guatemalan Minister for External Relations. He held joint press conferences after both meetings. During his visit, Andris Piebalgs also visited INACIF, the National Institute of Forensic Sciences of Guatemala.
