Jan Kinšt, membre de la Cour des comptes européenne, a présenté le rapport spécial n°6/2013: "Les États membres et la Commission sont-ils parvenus à optimiser l'utilisation des ressources dans le cadre des mesures de diversification de l'économie rurale?" lors d'une conférence de presse le 17 septembre 2013 à Bruxelles. Il ressort de ce rapport que l'utilisation des ressources de l'UE consacrées à la diversification de l'économie rurale n'est pas optimale.
