Visit of Tonio Borg to Beijing: 07/06/2013

On 7 June 2013, Tonio Borg, Member of the EC in charge of Health and Consumer Policy, was in visit in China. The Commissioner went to Beijing where he attended a high level meeting with the Chinese General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ). He also paid a visit to Yin Li, Deputy Director of the China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA), and signed an amendment to the Memorandum between the CFDA and the EC.
