On 17-18 April 2013, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) hosted its 489th Plenary Session in Brussels to mark the end of the Presidency headed by Staffan Nilsson, President of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), and welcome a new Presidency for 2013-2015. On 17 April 2013, Henri Malosse has been elected President of the EESC. On this occasion, he held a press conference and a questions/answers session with the participation of Jane Morrice, Vice-President of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), Hans-Joachim Wilms, Member of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), Dicki Chhoyang, Foreign Minister of the Central Tibetan Administration, and Jean-Gabriel Lieberherr, Treasurer of the Jean Monnet Association and grandson of Jean Monnet.
