On 21 March 2013, Ramón Luis Valcárcel Siso, President of the Committee of the Regions, participated in the plenary session of the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels. Discussions focused on cooperation between the two institutions and the political agenda (Europe 2020 Strategy; 2014-2020 multiannual financial framework and economic governance).
