e-Procurement - putting innovation to work for Europe
E-procurement is a powerful ally as we struggle with the twin challenges of budgetary consolidation and low growth. It can deliver important savings of time and money. However, it remains under-used in Europe. It is time to act in order to enable all stakeholders to fully benefit from a transition to e-procurement. If legislative change is needed to support this transition, we will make those changes in the context of the modernisation of the procurement Directives announced in the Single Market Act.
